Logical Storage Solutions drive in pallet racking installation recently completed for long term, high density, storage facility in Halifax, UK. At 22 pallets deep the installation can accommodate approximately 5000 pallet locations.

VNA Pallet Racking In New Warehouse

Logical Storage Solutions Limited designed, supplied and installed a new 21st century VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) pallet racking system in the brand new state-of-the-art £1.1million warehouse of their client Stiller Warehousing and Distribution in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. The racking system fills the 40,000 sq ft warehouse and holds up to 5,000 pallets.

14.5m High VNA Pallet Racking Installation

Completion of 14.5m high VNA pallet racking at new 263,000 sq ft facility in Chester le Street.

The installation comprises of over 24,000 pallet locations installed in only 3 weeks, with over 350 tonnes of material being delivered within 2 weeks from order. Total project duration 5 weeks

3 tier mezzanine floor and goods lift installation

Logical Storage Solutions Limited have recently completed their project for automotive parts wholesaler in Maidstone. The installation features a 3 tier mezzanine floor with column spans of 5m x 6m, offering a total of 3600m2 additional storage space served with multi level goods lift. Logical Storage Solutions were appointed to manage the 13 week project in its entirety by acting as principle contractor. — in Maidstone.

Distribution centre racking installation

Being an owner managed organisation allows us to be extremely flexible in our approach to working with customers. The project was particularly interesting, as we needed to ensure the operation remained unaffected by the racking installation and at the same time, execute a phased handover programme. The first milestone in the programme required us to handover 2000 pallet spaces in just 5 days, which I am pleased to say we achieved with our S.E.I.R.S. approved installation teams. The installation comprises of a 600m2 anti collapse mesh screen, rack upright protection, mesh panel decking, labelling and steel partitioning, all of which needed to be co-ordinated into the programme to ensure the deadlines were achieved.

Telescopic Racking

Our Telescopic Cantilever Racking provides one such solution, the easily extendable and retractable design allows for product to be stored neatly within the confines of the racking, yet remain readily accessible for loading and unloading by means of an overhead crane, without the requirement for any fork truck movements.
